Dr. Mindy Smith, CCC Secretary provided us an update on the Teck spill.
The spill that occurred yesterday from an old landfill and arsenic storage area has been downgraded from code 2 (urgent status) to a code 1 by Emergency Management BC.
Sampling of Stoney Creek and the Columbia River are being conducted and the results will be forwarded to all stakeholders as they become available.
Mindy will keep us posted as information comes in.
